Common recycling questions.

Plastic bags and film cannot be placed in curbside bins as they tangle sorting machinery. However, many grocery stores have designated drop-off bins for clean, dry plastic bags and wraps.

Yes, please give containers a quick rinse to remove food residue. Excessive contamination can cause entire batches to be rejected at the processing facility.

Your recycling is taken to our Central Recovery Hub where it is sorted, cleaned, and processed into bales of material (paper, plastic, metal, glass). These bales are sold to manufacturers who use them as raw material for new products.
